Welcome to PTO

The Richland Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a team of people, comprised of parents, guardians, family members, teachers and staff. We meet regularly to discuss and implement programs and activities that enhance our children's education.

The purpose of the Richland PTO shall be:

  • To instill the Richland Leader in Me Habits through the promotion of activities that build character in our students and unity in our families.
  • To encourage families and the community to take an active role in their school.
  • To supplement fund-raising activities for class trips, awards, assemblies and equipment that will
    enhance our children's education.
  • To encourage and enhance communication between faculty and parents.

We are always seeking parent volunteers to assist with various activities or to help create new ideas throughout the year. Volunteering your time could be helping to decorate the school, chairing an event or signing up to be a homeroom or co-homeroom parent. Please join us at any meetings to learn what volunteer opportunities may be a good fit for your talents and availability. Our meetings are held in the school library and are open to all. You may bring your children, no matter if afternoon or evening meeting, as often we have children there. We are parents like you and know the needs of family and responsibilities. We encourage you to bring your children as these meetings are about us, the parents with the children's' teachers, working together to better Richland for all.

Please contact us at RichlandTPO@gmail.com with any questions or ideas.
