Dear Richland Families,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to express my gratitude for being part of such a wonderful, giving community. Our school collected 287 pounds of food that we donated to the Quakertown Food Pantry. We also collected 137 pounds of aluminum tabs to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. Thank you to the entire Richland community for your incredible generosity. Our next donation focus will be participating in the annual CHOP Pajama Day on December 5th. This is the fifth year we have participated in raising money for a children's organization near and dear to many of our hearts. See below for more details. We are so appreciative and grateful for how our community comes together to show support.
Monday is Richland Spirit Day! Wear Richland gear or blue and white for our Leadership Assembly. We will recognize our November Leaders of the Month and Effective Communicators, a Portrait of a Graduate competency.
As a reminder, school is closed November 26-28. When we return from Thanksgiving break, it will be December, and all students and staff are invited to participate in December Spirit Days. See the calendar below. There is much to look forward to in December! Save the dates outlined in this newsletter for Bingo Night, Book Fair, Reindeer Run, and our Holiday Sing-Along.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving with lots of quality time with family!
Nicole Zuerblis
Richland Principal
