Students and staff will celebrate Kindness Week from February 17–20, 2026, with a series of themed days designed to promote compassion, positivity, and connection throughout the school community.
Kindness Week will kick off on Monday, February 16, with no school in observance of Presidents Day. Activities will begin in full on Tuesday, February 17, which also coincides with Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Tuesday’s theme, “Be Kind to Yourself,” encourages students to focus on personal wellness. Participants are invited to wear red or pink and practice simple self-care habits such as drinking water, eating a healthy snack, and getting exercise.
On Wednesday, February 18, the theme shifts to “Be Kind to Your Parents.” Students are encouraged to wear something sparkly or bright and show appreciation at home by making a card for their parents or completing a chore without being asked.
Thursday, February 19, is dedicated to friendship with the theme “Be Kind to Your Friends.” Students can wear their favorite team shirt and are encouraged to thank a classmate or offer a compliment.
Kindness Week concludes on Friday, February 20, with “Be Kind to Someone New.” Students are invited to wear their school shirts and show their Panther Pride by reaching out to others — whether by inviting a new friend to play, saying hello to someone they don’t know, or making a conscious effort not to exclude anyone.
Throughout the week, the school community will be reminded that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. By encouraging students to be kind to themselves, their families, their friends, and new acquaintances, Kindness Week aims to build a culture of empathy, inclusion, and school pride that extends far beyond five days in February.
